Pilgrim’s Devon and Cornwall Coasts and Harbours holiday cruise is an exceptional opportunity to explore the southern coasts of Devon and Cornwall. You will be sailing on our amazing fully restored Victorian sailing trawler built in 1895. She’s restored as original above deck and with comfy contemporary accommodation down below. We have room for 10 passengers on this 5 day 4 night summer cruise from Brixham to Falmouth. It’s a fabulous way to have that special holiday break in both Devon and Cornwall that all your friends will envy. We will visit picturesque anchorages and historic harbours while we sail westward. The weather and tides will dictate what we do and where exactly we go.
Cruising on Pilgrim is a unique experience.
Not only will you have a superb sailing holiday, but you will see how Victorian fishermen handled these heavy and powerful vessels. You will be able to assist the crew to sail Pilgrim in the traditional manner yet benefit from the modern guest facilities we have on board.
For your Devon and Cornwall Coast and Harbours holiday we are spoilt for choice with places to visit. There are the sheltered waters of local estuaries and we will likely visit beautiful Dartmouth or Salcombe. Our passage may include Plymouth Sound, Cawsands and the Mount Edgecombe estate. Sailing westward we’ll pass the picturesque towns of Looe, Fowey and Mevagissey. We often anchor overnight on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula and sometimes in delightful St Mawes. .Wherever we go, you will be able to enjoy exhilarating sailing and soak up the fabulous scenery and the wonderful wildlife. Pilgrim provides a chance to see Devon and Cornwall in summer from a different perspective. in good company but away from the crowds and congestion.
