Trafalgar Night Dinner
Please join us for our formal Trafalgar Night Dinner at Brixham Yacht Club on Saturday 17th October 2026. This is a black-tie event and includes a splendid three course dinner which will be followed by the simply spectacular ‘Ships of the Line’ and complimentary Port. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
For those that have them, the wearing of miniature medals is encouraged.
Our guest speaker, Rear Admiral Jim Higham CB OBE Royal Navy (Retd) has served as our country’s pre-eminent naval engineer. His talk, “Nelson’s Band of Tech Bros” relates Nelson’s approach to technology and innovation at the time of Trafalgar to the technical challenges faced by today’s Royal Navy.
The evening will conclude with some rousing community singing of sea songs and shanties led by the Brixham Pilgrim Shanty Singers. The event commences at 6.45pm with seating for dinner at 7.30pm. This is a Pilgrim charity fundraising event. The Pilgrim Trafalgar Night Dinner is one of our not-to-be-missed events
