Our Maritime and Coastguard Agency Licence allows us to carry maximum of 10 guests on board, in addition there is a crew of 5 including qualified skipper and cook which is ideal for one or two families or one extended family or special interest group. Children 8 years and above will really enjoy exploring on Pilgrim and we consider younger children at the discretion of the skipper based on the type of voyage or activities you want to do.

Family groups often say that being on Pilgrim is a great way to get everyone together across generations. Technical gadgets are cast aside and everyone enjoys activities plus talking and having meals together! You can create lasting memories while working together with the crew to help sail Pilgrim. There really is something for everyone! Our crew are very creative at getting the youngsters and teenagers involved on-board, on the water and ashore.

Sailing can be very exhilarating but your safety and enjoyment is in the hands of our experienced professional skipper. Our ability to undertake any passage or reach specific ports is dependent on weather and sea conditions. Our skipper will try and take that into account when working with you to plan you voyage and activities.  It is not usually the boat, the skipper or crew that will limit us, but what our guests feel able to tackle!

So to recap, for sailing charters and group cruises you choose how you want to use Pilgrim and we put together a package. That will include all of the elements you want for your voyage or holiday. We will  work with you before your trip to put all the features together and come up with a package that is attractive and affordable. Booking your own boat for your group can be surprisingly surprisingly competitive when compared with other available options.
