Did you know that, whilst Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, they actually visited Pilgrim to present us with a cup originating from King George V?
The King George V Perpetual Cup was originally gifted by King George V in 1914 for races between working trawlers. The cup was first presented in 1919 by Lord Churston on behalf of the King after races were suspended during the First World War.
It’s still raced for today and we’ll be competing for it next month. Wish us luck!!
